Chavis obtained his Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in 2010 and his Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2012. His education was obtained from a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at MSU-Billings and Masters degree in Social Work and Sociology from Walla Walla University-Billings. Chavis’s experience includes working with the legal system, addictions, Veterans, and confidential professional clientele.
Chavis specializes in Addictions, Anger Management, and Trauma. He has specific training in therapy methods of Prolonged Exposure (PE), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
