Chelsea Saunders, SWLC

Chelsea works with all ages- children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, and complex life stressors. Chelsea has a background in community health and social services; she brings a big-picture perspective to therapy, helping clients understand how trauma, environment, and life experiences intersect with emotional and relational well-being.

She has a special interest in complex trauma and adverse childhood experiences, eating disorders, and body dysmorphia, and also supports individuals and families experiencing systematic trauma. Chelsea offers a compassionate, nonjudgemental space where clients can explore both immediate concerns and deeper patterns, moving toward healing at a pace that feels safe and collaborative.

Chelsea uses an integrative, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach drawing from IFS (parts work), DBT, CBT, narrative, and Gestalt therapy. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Montana State University Billings and her Master’s in Social Work from Walla Walla University- Billings Campus. Chelsea worked with addiction and substance use disorders during her clinical training while obtaining her masters. Chelsea has completed Gottman Level 1 training to work with couples and receives clinical supervision from Nancy Thorson, an expert in dissociation and PTSD.
