Robbin Sitton, SWLC
Robbin is a Social Work Licensure Candidate who works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, overthinking, self-worth and identity concerns, parenting, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She is especially drawn to working with individuals who feel caught in cycles of self-analysis or emotional overwhelm, as well as those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that shape their relationships and experiences.
Robbin approaches therapy with curiosity and compassion, creating space for clients to slow down and explore not only what they think about their experiences, but what they feel and what those emotions may be communicating. Her work helps clients develop greater awareness and compassion for the ways they have learned to navigate difficult experiences while exploring new ways of relating to themselves and others.
Robbin uses an attachment-based, emotion-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She believes meaningful change comes not only from understanding ourselves intellectually, but from connecting with our emotions, values, relationships, and lived experiences. Above all, she views therapy as a collaborative process in which clients bring valuable expertise about their own lives. She receives valuable guidance from her supervisor, Nancy Thorson, LCSW.
