Dr. Robbin Heigis, PCLC
Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate| Trauma & Behavioral Specialist | Child & Family Therapist
I’m Dr. Robin Heigis-Cormier, a PCLC with nearly three decades of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. My clinical practice integrates trauma-informed care, behavioral intervention, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients build resilience and restore balance in their lives.
My areas of expertise include trauma, ADHD, behavioral intervention, and children prenatally exposed to drugs and alcohol. I also specialize in working with children navigating anxiety, depression, attachment difficulties, and school-related emotional or behavioral struggles.
Before entering full-time clinical practice, I spent over 28 years in education as a teacher, school counselor, and district Behavior Intervention Coach. Alongside my private practice, I serve as an Assistant Professor and Program Lead in the School Counseling/LCPC Program at Montana State University Billings, where I help prepare the next generation of counselors to lead with compassion, competence, and purpose.
