Kathleen Poteete, SWLC
Kat works with individuals and couples ready to move beyond survival mode and start living with more connection, clarity, and joy. She is passionate about deep emotional work exploring how our past shapes us and how to move forward with that insight.
She has a special interest in complex trauma, dissociative disorders, ADHD, and relationship dynamics, but all experiences and neurodivergent identities are welcome. She offers a compassionate and grounded space where healing and growth can unfold at your own pace.
Kat uses an integrative, personalized approach drawing from Emotion Focused, Ego-State (parts work), and Gestalt therapies. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Troy University, and her Master's in Social Work at Walla Walla University - Billings. She has completed advanced couples training (EFT Externship & Gottman Level 1) and gains valuable insight from her supervisor, Nancy Thorson, an expert in dissociation and PTSD.
